  1. ...Dayum. Pooh loses so much when you dumb it down to talk down to little kids, entirely and inexplicably remove Gopher and/or Owl & Kessie (but seriously, why does Gopher get no love?!?!?!), insert OOC and contradictory and unfair bs, repeat similar lame plots, and CG it. The sheer, total magic of "The Many/New Adventures" is soooo diluted and not even approximated, despite most of the same voice actors being present. How did this random chick "Darby" get to the 100-Acre Wood? She's just Christopher Robin's American friend? Why is her name Darby? It's nice, but for a boy! Weird to just slap her in there to form a detective agency with Pooh & Tigger & her pooch. And again, the introduction of a very gopher-like beaver +a porcupine, turtle, woodpecker, etc., MAKES <0 SENSE when poor Gopher is being doubly ignored. It's BIZARRE, as if his voice actor had died--but he's alive! His absence is so conspicuous. And Owl and Kessie are gone too. #WTFH BoP actually had some pretty good songs. The best things were the uuuuhhh, entire Chez Piglet ("OH PIGLAY!") ep, the Shakespeare one, the bluebird-song one...etc. #bookofpooh #myfriendstiggerandpooh // Muddafuggin' #PollyPocketCartoon? Has nothing to do with Polly Pocket. Her design looks like a ripoff of Sunny Day (though it could've been the other way around.) Typical trio of a blue-eyed blonde, green-eyed redhead, and a black friend. It's just a mediocre-at-the-very-best little cartoon about a girl who can shrink. Not memorable, pretty pointless. Polly Pocket (produced from 1989 through around 2002) is one of the most incredibly wonderful toy lines ever made. The ultimate cartoon would use all of the amazingly beautiful locations given directly to you via the compacts and buildings as the settings/neighborhood/world. Just like any Puppy in My Pocket cartoon should use those figure characters in a follow-their-lives sort of realistic-soap-opera format. There are just loads and loads of them comprising a canine community. Anything that took place in "the real world," I'd automatically apply to my toys and favorite characters. This is like the two attempts to turn "Littlest Pet Shop" into a series. They consider the title only, rather than using the actual eternally-beloved toys. The first decided to have the shop sell the literal littlest pets--miniature animals. The shopkeeper and bunny were the most memorable characters. Then the second took the tack of "girl who can talk to animals lives over a daycare with astronomically improbable species," because Hasbro had decided that absolutely any animal qualified as a "pet." And thus could be turned into a chibified small figure that can't stand up on its own due to its ridiculous-looking head and undetailed miniscule body. The original LPS is right up there with Polly, the In-My-Pocket & related toys, 80s/90s Barbie, Melanie's Mall, Pound Puppy playsets, etc. The later LPS 'toon was largely kinda sorta moderately okay-ish, with Zoe being easily the best character...I followed that along with FiM, Pound Puppies, other Hub stuff (like Dan VS. and whatnot.) They had some fairy tale flop. But wow, The Hub was rad between its fun animation and the excellent sitcoms.

  4. bh6: So uhhhh...it's tough to have a favorite because the best traits are split between Honey LEMON and Gogo. Love the name Gogo, love the word/fruit lemon. Anyway. HL because slim redhead with excellent color scheme/fashion sense and power (I mean, a sexy ballsack full of colorful super-JELL-O Jiggler orbs reminiscent of B.O.B. & the guy who fell through the Monstropolis grate & the vending machine things you can slap on the wall 'til they ain't sticky no more, like my little Geico the yellow gecko? How badass is that?!) But blend those with Gogo's attitude (and her style too--dig the hair streak, fingerless gloves, overall gothy-punkness.)
    Speaking of JELL-O...I've got these great fruit cups (peaches & pears in cherry gel) that remind me of an awesome version of those weird JELL-O salads that were once so oddly popular. Slog-approved. ^3^ IT'S JELLY JELLY JELLY TIME!
    And I guess Fred is my favorite guy. xD Aaaannnd also it should be illegal to do anything gross with redhead/cool-colored characters. -_-
    https://1drv.ms/u/s!AgdOi37dNFecj2B1M1p5pFAIOg37 -Honey Lemon pony. I mean, you'd think a pony with that name would be like, yellow and brownish-yellow (which'd be perdy too, like a pone born in Indian summer), but since it's based on the hero outfit...yarr.
    Alsooo...HIGH VOLTAGE. Juniper. Their whole 80s look. Crime-dancing in diners, arcades, etc. IT'S SO GROOVY. And the wee centipede-bot, awwwww. C'est le kawaii. x-3 And gummi bunnies and electric eels and giant grapey Globbies and Nega-Globbies and aaaahhh...
    Really shouldn't be that difficult for anyone to figure out the identities of BH6 though...:/

Myrtle kinda rules...I mean, everybody's drawn all chunky/stocky/pudgy/thicc/fat/what-have-you with the big pig noses, but she's got the curly reheadedness, glasses, oft-relatable or hilarious Angelica-ish attitude, cool house/yards, doll collection, redhead mum, Shih Tzu, etc. She should've bought the Pompood at the pet store in "Finder." Spike is cute--little Sandslash pangolin. But I'm calling bullshitnanigans on the idea that any curly-redhead wouldn't know most of the quiz answers without her friend looking them up, or that her teen version wouldn't adore that orange/yellow outfit on teen Lilo. Purple+yellow Checkers is cool. And then they introduce "the friendly redhead" Victoria...which reminds me of sticking Abby in and trying to give her Mal's hair in black...nice try Hodges...lol. Hope BK & McDonald's & Wendy's aren't too different inside. Last went in McD's for pony in early 2010s. BK was lovely inside. Loved sittin' there with the toys and Kids' Club kids (and the stranger behind us who joined in with Fred when he randomly started singing the American Pie refrain that one time...) 14. Thinking of that magnificent sweater with the white dog face w/ turquoise jewel eyes...there are at least one or two shots of me in it, with turquoise pants, on the floor with Fred & I'm holding the giant plush mostly-orange+magenta snake...alas you can't see too much of the sweater due to the snake, but still...I looked for that/those pics throughout our thousands of old photographs & slides (both in the main cabinet and my closet, all possible albums and stacks), and somehow they just weren't there. Or missed, but that should've been utterly impossible. Le sighs. Joe and his technocrap everywhere...it would be acceptable if he were actually in the midst of an extremely long process of converting all of those precious-beyond-priceless memories to digital. 1. ...whew, found the two shots of that best-sweater-ever-on-Earth with the light turq pants. From '92+'93. One is Grandma w/ baby Joe/Fred/me on the couch, other is me hugging the giant colorful snakey next to baby Joe on his mat. ;3; Both are me deliberately showing as little of the front of the shirt as possible, so that you'd have no idea what was on it if I didn't remember. You see the pretty lavender/white/turquoise/teal colors, paw prints on sleeve, and lines/shapes on parts of the front...looks like the dog's nose was fuchsia...fuck but I could've just gotten a full-on shot of the friggin thing, whyyyyy. Makes me wanna commit all of the bloody murder. How outrageously frustrating. Only being able to remember all this incredible shit is why I now obsessively photograph, record, and document everything. As many precious photos & videos as we have, what I wouldn't give to have back everything that was given away/donated/lost/sold, and especially to have very clear photos of absolutely everything I can recall (as well as what I can't!!) The sweater pics also show stuff like the big-button id phone, baby monitor/bottle, Oh-Pooh electronic educational stylus toy with one of the sheets in place, the lovely sheep blanket (and what looks as if it might be a Beauty & the Beast one underneath it or something?), etc. Actually the B&tB thought makes sense bc we also had the big Belle cutout pillow on the old blue wood-paneled couch. Also Fred's Tchaikovsky plush from Beethoven's 2nd. I have Dolly & Mo. Did Joe have Chubby or did we just not get him? ;; Anyhow I'd put the pix near other older ones brought up into one of the my-closet albums--w/ the turquoise rainbow-paint+cactus Lisa Frank tee ones, where I'm holding a bag of...pretzels? And Fred has an orange Ssips juice box. Then the one where I got a jewelry-beading kit for Xmas and he got I think his dit-dah-dit morse code kit.
      Now what's also going to destroy me is the desperate wondering where a certain old favorite Christmas card from our priceless collection of saved greeting cards got to. It's simply not there and that is way beyond impossible. The one with the beautiful Victorian house where the cover opens to show cutaways of all the rooms...goddammit it's so cozy and lovely...how could that of all of them possibly vanish? Just the universe playing cruel tricks on me again, dematerializing shit? It's the only one that's coming to me, but what if others have also disappeared and I'm just thinking of that one? OH WAIT I JUST THOUGHT OF ANOTHER...the one with all the animal moms & the best one was the pink/purple (I think) Pood going "Who said you were old enough to shave your legs, young lady?" Doodled that once. Oh lord. I hope I don't start thinking of more...like the amazing toolbench one for Fillup, shocking for that to have finally disappeared from his nightstand, BUT at least I took copious images+video of that one. :b

    2. The universe exists solely to torture and piss me off. The impossible occurs around me on a daily basis, and it's almost always garbage that happens purely to enrage me. Anything at all can vanish inexplicably into thin air at any moment...especially priceless, precious things. So what's the point? What does anything matter? You think you can rely, depend, count on certain things, but then...this thing that just happened is cruelty of the highest order. The universe is doing its level best to make me give up on everything. Stubborn, dogged, angry defiance is preventing it. But I truly do not want to live on this planet anymore. This world is deeply unworthy of me and I despise everything about it; even the apparently wonderful things wind up somehow bringing aggravation and grief. It does not deserve me. God, imagine how many fewer humans there'd be (and how much better the world would consequently be in every respect) if one could give informed consent to one's own birth...

  17. My favorite books overall have tended to be nonfiction. Atlases/manuals/field guides to breeds and species and types of animals, plants, and other pretty elements of nature. Once I'd aged past the wonderful long series of junior/YA novels and other great children's lit of the 80s & 90s, I realized that there wasn't quite so much excellence aimed at adults...classical literature and some more contemporary novels to enjoy, sure [https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Sw2M1TG0qfdJph090Nf90f1UL-wZrfwA/view?usp=sharing]...but still, by and large, what drew me most strongly was the "animal" nonfiction section. 8D

    *Ducking out of a party to watch SpongeBob premieres in the bedroom (and then being joined. ;) Being bored by Buffy & opting for more Badger Badger Badger on eBaumsWorld.
    *Mental age=48, apparently. But it should really be either 10 or 100. Somehow I'm an eternal child who was born a wise-beyond-my-years old soul.
    *My rubber Jerry w/ the pleasingly flat face+round ears. Dale w/ the mirror I thought was a racquet+Chip w/ treasure map. (Those two were on that wooden shelf, where'd they get to? Can't add to the Missing List, the page is almost full. ;p There's the great photo w/ wee-me holding Jerry+looking rather serious. Sebastian should still be in the bathroom...w/ his marker-colored head from being run over by the stroller @ WDW...)
    *Did I mix up Ricky Zoom and Rusty Rivets? Do believe I did. Whoopsie.

  21. musical notes:  I rocked the recorder. Flute lessons in elementary school. Harp in high school. Messed around with all the instruments we happened to own—pedal organ, keyboard (& my mini one+those wee electronic toy pianos), electric drum, acoustic guitar (uncle didn’t really let us use his electric, maybe a couple strums once when he plugged it in), violin, etc. Gotta love the triangle, kazoo, ocarina, tambourine, harmonica, rain stick, etc.! Fred took trumpet I believe. Boys tended to favor the brass (trombone, trumpet) and most girls picked clarinet. I wished we could have French horn or kettle drum. No coincidence that I both sucked at algebra and showed only a small musical talent, eheheh. Also, totally miss the exercise bike that was always next to the organ and the precious folding Barbie house (pink sunroof+lattice one.) Which always reminds me of Precious Places gazebo and the, again, bazillion other beloved toys & shit I’ve noted here, on Pinterest, & so forth...;;

    1. Even Stevens: That fucking Beans kid copied my pickle-brine Gatorade prank. Probably before I did it, apparently, but still. Fried Green Magnolias, haha. And that daisy tissue box, omg that was one of the all-time best designs!! And the one with the lemons among the dark leaves and shit...and ofc that pumpkin/gourd-printed one where I taped a tissue to my door for a long time bc it was so gorge...dammit I always picked the greatest designs at ShopRite and thought, I ought to be the picture-picker for Kleenex and Yankee Candle (BRING BACK THE BLACK-BAND HOUSEWARMER JARS WITH BIG IMAGES NOW) and everyfuckinthing else. Really I should be in charge of absolutely everything and the world would be perfect. Anyway. Ren's name should be Wren—wtf is “Ren” short for? Her seafoam top in “The Big Splash” is remarkably similar to one of mine. Would kinda suck having a half-length locker though. Never did. Red 6th grade, green 7th, blue 8th. Then #96 @ ALJ, forever mine...surely never so well-kept (or loved) by another...clean & organized & decorated, with the magnetic basket and all.../);3;(\ Anyway again...HOLY NO FUCKING SHIT WAY. In Ren's room in “Stevens' Manor,” my wavy fish lamp from Liberty Science Center. Homfg.
      S3 Vampirina is shit so far...so much ripoffage, corny stupidity and nonsense (not the good kind) and garbaggio/crappola...shame Bridget had to be the never-improving annoying lamewad idiot. xD As usual not enough Penelope (her broom-flying was great though.) Need an episode centered around her and the singing snapdragons. 8'D Them, and the pumpkins...the garden is excellent, like my precious Hunger Games Adventures one. (Man, my in-game aesthetics are always just as on-point as irl!) Holy shit though, the Blobby ep might be the worst yet. Unbearably dumb. Firstly, copying sooo many “jell-o monsters” and similar characters (in MI, Monsters vs. Aliens, Miles From Tomorrowland, Toy Story...) And um, uh, BIG HERO 6???? Difference being this one leaves slime everywhere, and what happens is...they fucking apologize after he leaves their purple-goo-coated house? That he knowingly, willfully coated? And it's just okay that he's slimy and they just have to clean tf up after his ass—no no no, that's not how it'd work. Cut the cheesy bs. Either the goo-monster finds a way not to goo places up, or he's unwelcome. Obviously. Did Oksana say “phenomenons?” *gag* What's this cool non-messy orange blob & doughnut-hole-lookin' dude? Now they're obsessed with the blobbies and with sissifying every creature...the Headless Horseman, a jolly fellow who only wanted to greet Ichabod? Ay yi yi. Penny was left out of the Christmas family portrait and she deserves soooo much better than this family. x_x EW @ calling octopus arms tentacles, yay for incorporating more cowbell. Luna the were-Shih Tzu (do they come in other breeds?) looks like maybe a distant relative of Cupcake's. Cute colorful puppies. But call “the smallest pup” what he is—the runt! Say it: RUNT! The vet sees Penelope huh? She's like a...plant who's between a person and pet. The Poods are colorful too, though kinda...weirdly poorly drawn.
      The “Ready for Preschool” songs mostly suuuuck...so many more lies. Especially the baffling shoe-tying knot...wtf, nothing could work better than the simple bunny-ears. The lullabies and nursery rhymes were so cute because, y'know, they already existed and just got the nice animation applied. No attempts to write crap necessary. Kids, just watch VideoSmarts. Truth is, most of the best everything almost certainly already exists, and has for some time. It'll last forever. Instead of feeling the odd need to constantly churn out disposable, mediocre, redundant, forgettable, unremarkable, lousy, etc. etc. etc. crap, just focus on quality over quantity and what should still be done. Everything's been going so massively downhill since the mid-2000s. In fact, GPS is about the only thing in the world that hasn't.

      Just looking for pics of fluffy Pood in the Webshots album (under ikulas 1) leads you to all the priceless shots of my room during high school (according to the books, bag, folders, notebooks, IDs, etc. visible...or else junior high...) Oh my god, you could never remember all the stuff to jot down--or just remember in the first place, which is why photography is the most invaluable invention! ;w; The Valentine pup standing on heart holding heart w/ bowlful of hearts. Pooka from Anastasia. LF glitter-art Casey & printed paper puppets on toothpicks. Photos of the water globes, Kokopelli and the incredible coral reef double one from O'Johnnies and that egg-shaped floral one I'd forgotten. Some neon orange frog candle or something I strangely don't recall. Yankee candles, the cider-jug tart warmer. Sandicast Beagle in blue plaid bed. Jewelry, esp the 9-gem shades-of-pink square ring. Orange/yellow wall fish. Wall-mounted gumball machine, plastic-fish aquarium. Another w/ "Nemo" & "Dory" atop the old desktop. That real solid plastic Pood. Eeeeeeeeverything else that made me go "omg" and that I haven't thought of in forever, perhaps since we had it...or that I did remember well but am ridiculously grateful to have photos of anyway...
      Valentine pink basket cardboard decoration. Tissue boxes...Chicken Little xD, pumpkins...the best napkin ever unfolded & taped to me door (on the "Legacy of the Dog" cover perhaps?? That I'd torn off while in my paper-tearing phase? XD;; ) Anyway the napkin was the gourd one. Red Snapple CD case. Ceramic fishy tissue box cover, omg! Old hard eyeglass cases that might be in Ladyface's jewelry box drawer now. My ceramic clownfish. The double-decker bus pill box from Woodworth, for Miss Winnie from Curious Savage. ;] Wyoming fleece jacket thing? Pink plastic rolled-bill-holder necklace. Scotties sweater. Coconut roll-on perfume. Squeezy light-up Dory. Yaddadadadadadada...

  24. Q: “Did you take field trips in elementary school? Been to an apiary?” A: Guess there weren’t tons of elementary school trips... think the mine one was then? Or middle. When I got the box of gems. We did a family trip there too and I got more and was looking for fluorescent ones. Had to order those online from some other quarry. And Space Farms, same deal, two trips at least...but no apiary, alas. (Sterling Hill! Yeah, pretty sure that was it...) And the other cow-milkin' farm trip...

  25. ~~~Dial-up AOL on the first shared computer in the parlor, with the modem noise pattern eternally ingrained in your head..."you've got mail," keywords, message boards...
    The infinite glory of AIM. Fucking everyone used it all the time. Friends/classmates and others categorized in your buddy list. Crafting your profile (Producers quotes!) and the perfect away message for the moment. Chatting all through the first Puppy Bowl. Chat rooms. Emailing groups the transcripts of particularly hilarious/excellent chats. Was still going strong as of graduation in '05, so sometime afterward it was unjustly replaced by infinitely inferior bullshit. AIM could've continued to be the frontrunner and just kept adding the latest features/tech that's worth having, but nooo. They let themselves get run over. ;; Even though there since has been nothing to compare with the AIM Expressions buddy icons and Superbuddies, wallpapers, emojis, and sounds. (Listed the very best of those on the BoJack entry of the main blog. And of course THANK BLOODY BOB for the image I saved of all the best ones...) Seriously, bless me for every screenshot (e.g. HARD-worked-on profiles such as all those shitass dating sites, everything ever...)
    ~~~Putfile, ebaum's POS Photobucket alternative that simply vanished one day. I had some pics of the PA house while Fillup & I were gutting it for renovation...would be lovely if they were also somewhere else, but I'm unsure where that might be. ;; They're forever burned in my mind though. At least Webshots had the decency to announce they were shutting down and give you all your photos in a big folder, which I then put on Photobucket as a "Webshots" album.
    1. ~~~just said on yt: "The Print Shop Deluxe Ensemble II was one of my absolute favorite "computer games." No telling how much time I spent using it to peruse the delightful clipart, create posters and greeting cards and banners and school projects and labels and whatnot (some of which we still have)...and actually treat it as a word processor before my dad showed me Word. xD I'd just use the smallest font inside a giant text block. That was the next step after the typewriter, when we had the first family computer in the parlor for everybody to share. Dial-up AOL, so many wonderful games. Ah, good times. Far better times. But yeah, so many Print Shop graphics are just iconic. And the best category of clipart is Dapper Dogs, do not @ me. ;b Peerlessly magnificent program."
      ...speaking of yt, 'twas better when you could have a repeating image as your profile/channel background and everything was on one nice neat page. Showed the # of videos you'd watched, how many times one had been favorited, allowed rating of 1-5 stars. etc.
